Procedure
• Outpatient surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia.
• Incisions are typically made behind the hairline.
• Technique involves lifting and repositioning the skin while removing excess fat and tightening muscles.

Who Is A Candidate?
• Individuals with forehead creases, drooping eyebrows/hooding over eyes, deep creases/frown lines between eyebrows.Intended Results
• More rested, youthful appearance.

Recuperation
• Patients return home with a surgical dressing around the head and neck; dressing is generally removed in two – three days.
• Swelling and bruising is significantly reduced in seven – fourteen days, with full recovery in about three weeks.
• Typically, patients experience temporary numbness and headaches.
• Most patients return to work in seven – ten days.

The Azalea Center for Plastic Surgery opened Azalea Surgery Center, LLC. in the summer of 2003. The Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art surgical suite in a comfortable, personalized setting within the same building as Azalea Center for Plastic Surgery, P.C.

The surgical suite is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. and is certified by both the State of Georgia and the Federal Medicare program.
